How secure are your online sessions?

I have invested in a specific encrypted platform that is made for this field of work.

There is no need to worry.

But do random Internet people really want to listen in on us?

When do you see clients?
Sometimes on weekends, but generally Monday to Friday, 7am to 8pm.
When do you have the most available sessions?
Daytime, usually between 10am and 2pm.
Do you take insurance?
I am covered by most insurance plans. The way it works is that you pay me, and then the insurance company will reimburse you.
How do I set up an appointment?

There are a number of ways to do it!

You can call or text me at (437) 800-8860

You can email me at helpme@peterstathakos.com

You can fill out the Contact form at the bottom of the page…

Or click the “Book Appointment” button at the top of the page.

Do you work with men, women, couples?
Yes, I work with all men, women, couples, families, corporations, and courts.
Do you work with LGTBQ2+?
Yes, I do.

In the past, I have been asked to speak about sexual trauma, sexual addiction, and health by the AIDS Society.

What modalities do you use?
I strive to match the appropriate modality to your situation, temperament, and personality.

I’ve found creating therapy that is custom-made for you results in the fastest treatment outcome.

What is your professional training and experience?

Extensive. You can ask during your session…

What technique is that? What’s it called? Why are you asking me this?

I will happily answer any question about anything I’m doing or asking. I welcome your questions because I know what I am doing. ????

What else do I need to know to make the most out of working with you?
I believe that you are capable of encountering truth, so I won’t lie to you or hold back if it’s difficult.

I believe that you are a strong person committed to growth.

Will you browbeat me with the Bible?
Nope. But if you want to discuss theology and it is important to you, I am ready to learn and talk about your faith, religion, spirituality, or God.
What brand of tissue do you use?
Nobody cries in my office. ????
How do you listen to hard stuff and not go crazy yourself?
I’ve never claimed not to be crazy. I only claimed that I can help.
What’s your favourite day of the year?
St. Patrick’s Day! But for a different reason than you just thought.
Is your office a carefully made igloo?
Yes (for out-of-towners who might ask this). This is why online sessions are popular.
Who is your favourite therapist?
Freud… Anna Freud.
